Open the bill of materials table to change your material details. To change a photo, click the image preview and choose Replace. Choose fabric, trim, label or artwork for the category. These categories sort the reference pages in your PDF.
Before you start
- Open a tech pack with a bill of materials.
- Have the material details and any replacement photos ready.
How to do it
Edit the BOM table
Open your bill of materials and change the material details you need to update. Check the change in the PDF too.
Replace a photo
Click the material image preview, then choose Replace. Select the photo you want to use.
Check the linked images
The BOM image is linked to the artwork reference images. After you replace it, check the image in both places.
Choose the category
Choose fabric, trim, label or artwork. These categories sort your reference pages. Check the pages in the PDF after you change a category.

Change a fabric name and photo
The example changes “Main Fabric” to “gray cotton fabric,” then replaces the photo. Use your own material name and photo, then check the linked reference page.
Things to check
- After replacing a photo, check the BOM thumbnail and the linked reference page.
- Check the category. It decides where the reference appears in the PDF.
- Make sure the material name and photo match before you share the tech pack.

Click your bill of materials to see the table. In this table, you can edit your bill of materials. For example, change the name Main Fabric to gray cotton fabric. The PDF updates as well. To change the image associated with the BOM, click the preview image, then click Replace and choose an image you have on hand. The BOM image preview is linked to the artwork reference images. When you change an image, as in the fabric image replaced with Techpack Mama, it updates in two places and keeps everything synchronized.
